Experience the adventure with a professional Luxor guide, departing from your hotel in Luxor, who will accompany you on a day trip to Edfu and Kombo Temples from Luxor. You drive to Edfu, about an hour and a half from Luxor. The tour begins at the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, protector of kingship and son of the famous ancient Egyptian god Isis and her husband Osiris. This Ptolemaic temple was built between 237 and 57 BC. built. And is considered the best preserved sacrificial temple in Egypt.

Going to


You will then be taken to the Kom Ombo Temple, a remarkable twin temple in the town of Kom Ombo, Aswan, standing on a hilltop overlooking the Nile. The temple has a double entrance and is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the fertility god who lives in Aswan’s fertile Nile waters.

Return


You will return to Luxor by overland where you will have lunch at a nice restaurant before we drop you off at your hotel.
